The Jomo Kenyatta Foundation Scholarships were officially flagged off today, 16th January 2026. This marks an important milestone for students who have successfully completed Grade 9 and are now set to join Grade 10, having met all the required criteria.
Two weeks back, when Rotary members of Malindi were on a mission of empowering one thousand girls within Kilifi county by distributing dignity bags which contained sanitary towels, soaps, bath room towel, panties among other items, they came across a comprehensive school by the name Povuni in Magarini sub county, where ninety percent of the pupils were seated on the sacks and rocks.
